Small businesses…

Did you know that there is a holiday called Small Business Saturday? Started in 2010, the Saturday after Thanksgiving is a day designated to celebrate and support small businesses. What a wonderful holiday considering all that local businesses do, especially within our own city of Manhattan, Kansas! One-of-a-kind businesses provide unique customer experiences and impart local character and charm. They build strong town centers and offer a sense of community. They keep dollars within the neighborhood and boost the Kansas economy. Local businesses often purchase from and support other local businesses. Additionally, small businesses are the largest employers in the United States. They create jobs and offer stable employment. At Wahoo Fire & Ice Grill, we are proud to be a small, locally owned business. We are able to get to know our customers and pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service. Our menu has delicious, unique dishes found nowhere else in Manhattan. When you order a bison burger, you are in turn helping to support our local suppliers, such as the Plumlee Buffalo Ranch and the Flint Hills Prairie Bison Reserve. We appreciate your patronage and want to be your favorite local restaurant!
